The Board of Directors is happy to announce and invite you all to the upcoming 2021 Annual General Meeting of the NCRA/ANREC.
This virtual meeting will be held THURSDAY, AUGUST 12th @ 1PM EST. All members in "Good-Standing" are invited to participate and review reporting updates that frame what we believe to be an exciting year for reflection and change.

There is little confirmed information available this early, but the conference is scheduled for May 31-June 4 2022. We expect it to take place in-person, with elements being made available online.
As !earshot-distro.ca has come into use by both the music industry and the non-profit broadcasting sector, it has become apparent that musicians, artists, labels and distribution companies and the broadcasters themselves are frustrated with each other and how they operate. [Click for more]
The NCRA/ANREC is looking for a youth 15-30 to work out of our CentreTown Offive (and online) over the summer of 2021 to help with !earshot Distro rollout.

We are excited to announce the launch of the Spring 2021 Mentorship Program!
The Mentorship Program is a key part of the NCRA/ANREC’s learning and development strategy. Our goal is to offer our members an opportunity for peer to peer mentorship and learning that is ENTIRELY FREE.
The National Campus and Community Radio Association has teamed up with experts in podcasting and broadcasting from across the country to create an opportunity for advanced training for Canadians.
The Podcast School brings together decades of experience in creating, and curating high quality audio content. Our team of audio professors have been pushing the envelope of podcasting in Canada.
We are proud to be able to bring together experts from the sector to offer this 12 week course.
The NCRA Office will be closed for the holidays between December 24th, 2020 and January 3rd, 2021 reopening on the 4th. Emails and phone calls will be answered at that time.
The National Campus and Community Radio Association (NCRA/ANREC) announced the establishment the MAPL!e Grant. The grant will primarily feature FREE access to our !earshot Digital Music Distribution System, (“!earshot Distro”) and other areas that support under-represented artists and musicians in Canada, related to radio. The NCRA/ANREC is conducting a by-election to fill two board seats not filled at NCRC 2020. Member stations are encouraged to nominate a programmer, volunteer, or staff member. These seats are for two-year board terms, expiring at the 2022 AGM. This byelection must elect two women to fulfill our board composition requirements. [Click for more]
