We are excited to reveal the agenda for the Station Manager's Summit taking place in Winnipeg January 18th and 19th.
We are very grateful for CJNU-FM (Nostalgia Radio) for hosting us. CJNU-FM and the Winnipeg Foundation will be hosting us for the two days.
We have some presentations and guided conversation but we've created a lot of space for station managers to bring their concerns, and discuss the biggest issues facing them. We hope to see around 30 of our members joining us. This summit is designed to bring forth those who lead a station (Station Manager, Board members or key staff members) to discuss high-level issues relating to stations in a confidential and supportive environment.
The results are in from the biggest PSA campaign launched by the NCRA/ANREC. We had 50 stations participate to broadcast for free several PSA's outlining Canadian facts about the changing environment. We reached over 500,000 Canadians with a PSA played 5800 times!
