CHRY Community Radio, a community-based campus radio station located at York University, is seeking a Program Coordinator. Responsibilities:
* all programming - ensuring it is of high quality, and consistent with CHRY`s values and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements;
* overall sound and quality of the station`s broadcasting;
* recruitment and training of volunteers;
* recruitment and management of programming-related staff;
* development and maintenance of CHRY`s programming guidelines.

# experienced in working with and coordinating volunteers;
# able to review and provide evaluation and feedback to staff and on-air programmers;
# familiar with applicable government regulations and policies (e.g. provincial employment, CRTC);
# familiar with issues relevant to communities within CHRY`s broadcast coverage area and surrounding areas;
# familiar with CHRY`s role in our community;
# good general office computer skills;
# strong communication skills;
# able to work with diverse groups of people;
# able to apply station policies fairly, effectively and diplomatically.
# Campus/community radio and/or community media experience would be an asset but is not a requirement.
$33,312 per annum, 35 hours per week.
