CJAM’s Music Director is responsible for maintaining and growing CJAM’s vast music library. The Music Director also coordinates artist interviews and ticket giveaways/promotions and volunteer training, support, and guidance relating to music and music programming at CJAM.
We want to hear from candidates who demonstrate the following attributes:
- Wide knowledge of creative, under-represented and independent music of all genres
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge relating to non-commercial radio
- Experience in journalism and new media
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Computer and basic radio/audio production skills
- Friendly and patient disposition
- Management of volunteer coordination experience a plus
