Valley Heritage Radio, a community non-profit radio station is looking for a Morning Show Host! Join the team at CJHR – Valley Heritage Radio 98.7 FM – the Ottawa Valley’s # 1 fastest growing radio station.

Responsibilities:

• Host the morning show from 6 am to 10 am Monday to Friday

• Write and deliver news, weather and sports reports 6 am to noon, Monday to Friday

• Station appearances

Qualifications: 

• 1 to 3 years on-air experience in radio preferred

• Excellent on-air skills

• Ability to work independently

• Superior organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to communicate effectively on the phone

• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humour

• Computer literacy is mandatory

• Production skills are an asset
