Live Events and Music Coordinator
● Attend and cover summer festivals and events. Coverage will include on location
coverage as well as coverage leading up to after the event.
● Support volunteer programmers in covering events and lead live events team. With the
help of the Program Director liaise with festival organizers and volunteers to ensure
access and create editorial plans.
● Support the station’s growing music library. Attend to the station’s music library by
helping to archive new additions. Actively seek out new music from within the
community.

Qualifications: 

between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
● registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year;
● intending to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year;
● a student in a secondary, post-secondary, CEGEP (Quebec only), vocational or
technical program;
● a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has
been conferred under the Immigration
Qualifications:
● Previous experience as a volunteer or employee in community media or other
not-for-profit environments.
● Some media production experience and familiarity with audio editing.
● Excellent cross-cultural communication skills.
● Comfortable using social media.
● Outgoing, friendly and reliable.
● Excellent problem-solving skillsbetween 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;

Salary: 

30 hours per week at a minimum $14.00 per hour for a term of 8-10 concurrent weeks between
June 1 and August 31 depending on the position. Exact dates and pay TBA.
