
The FINANCE COORDINATOR is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and
bookkeeping of CKUT. The Coordinator works in conjunction with the Board of Directors, as well
as the Steering and Finance committees.
Duties include
* Preparing a complete set of books including accounts payable and receivables, payroll,
QST/GST reports, bank reconciliations and monthly financial statements
* Managing cash flow and preparing internal financial reports
* Filing all governmental forms/declarations
* Preparing Schedules for Annual Audit
* Preparation of various budgets
* Participates on the Steering and Finance Committee
* Prepares and presents quarterly financial reports to Steering and the Board of Directors
* Maintaining effective working relations with key financial contacts
* Consulting on major purchases and major contracts
* Experience working in a non-profit community organization
* Bookkeeping experience
* Computer Proficiency (Simply accounting, excel)
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to work in a community environment where consensus decision making is the norm
$16.33 per hour
