Community Media Hubs Coordinator
CKCU 93.1 FM is seeking to hire a Community Media Hubs Coordinator.
The successful candidate will be offered a 48 week contract
opportunity as part of CKCU’s team.
The Community Media Hubs Coordinator is responsible for implementing
Community Media Hub project initiatives to increase CKCU’s community
engagement and to build community awareness of CKCU and its programs.
The Community Media Hubs Coordinator will also encourage and
coordinate volunteer presence at station events, meetings and
fundraisers. The Community Media Hubs Coordinator will be expected to
Work with staff and volunteers to improve the physical and
online presence of CKCU;
· Work with staff in identifying connections and partnership
opportunities for the station with community groups, festivals, and
with Carleton University groups and societies;
· Attend and assist at community events as a station representative.
Interpersonal skills, communications skills, and experience working
with social media platforms and volunteers are essential to this
position. Experience in community radio, working closely with
volunteers, or having graphic design skills will be considered an
asset.
This is a full time (32 hours/week) position, with some evening and
weekend hours, for a period of 48 weeks.
