Radio CKUT is currently seeking a Production Coordinator.

ABOUT CKUT:

CKUT 90.3FM is a not-for-profit campus-based community radio station in Montreal. As a campus/community radio station, CKUT’s mandate is to provide an essential service to those in the Montreal community whose needs are not met by mainstream commercial radio. CKUT functions not only as an alternative to the status quo, but as a viable community resource. CKUT serves as a training ground for the community and student populations, and in doing so, provides an essential educational and informational service to the greater Montreal community.

Responsibilities:

The Production Coordinator is responsible for the administration and coordination of all production activities at CKUT. The Production Coordinator will work in conjunction with the Steering Committee and the Programming Committee.

Duties include:

Coordinating the maintenance and repair of studio equipment Assisting in production of public service announcements, station ids, on air ads. Training CKUT volunteers in production and recording techniques Sourcing and effecting equipment and supply purchases and overseeing the - production department budget Develop and maintain technical guides for the equipment usage Coordinating tech support for live music performances Coordinating tech support for remote broadcasts Participating as a member of collective management Cleaning studios
