Description: 

  •  Maintain CJLO’s on-air programming schedule and, when needed, build the schedule with new programming that differs from current programming 
  •  Implement CJLO and CRTC policies for on-air programming 
  •  Assist the Station Manager with guiding activities of both short and long term nature; 
  •  Maintain SOCAN standards and audits for on-air programming 
  •  Review on-air programming quality consistently 
  •  Oversee all on-air content which includes but is not limited to the Music, News, and Production departments 
  •  Ensure the maintenance of all equipment and general station aesthetics;

Qualifications: 

  •  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; 
  •  Previous experience in radio; 
  •  knowledge of the CRTC and its policies and various musical genres; 
  •  Strong planning and organizational skills; 
  •  Professional history of successful project planning and execution; 
  •  Expert communication and interpersonal skills; 
  •  Maintaining a minimum of thirty-seven and a half (37.5) office hours per week. 
  •  Knowledge of underground and local music 
  •  Bilingualism.
  •  Knowledge of the Concordia community

Salary: 

Remuneration to be determined based on qualifications.
