Valley Heritage Radio is a community-owned non-profit
radio station that has been on the air
since January of 2007.
Located just outside of Renfrew, Ontario, the station’s music format is truly unique as – much
like the people it serves – is very diverse. And how we deliver it is also unique – we have no
fewer than 25 volunteer-run programs on the airwaves each week, in addition to our daily 6
a.m. to 6 p.m. programs.
It is this rich tapestry of music, information, and locally produced programming – which
includes a self-imposed mandate of a minimum of 50% Canadian content – that helps endear
us to our listener
