We wanted to share with you some important updates for the National Community Radio Conference that is scheduled for June 4th, 5th, and 6th at Ryerson University. The NCRC38 is being co-hosted by the incredible team over at CJRU-AM. We have the Welcome party on the evening of the 3rd, and don't miss the Gala and the awards ceremony!

We have seen from the 50 stations that have filled out the NCRA/ANREC priority survey that we can expect at least 75 people to come and join us from stations all over the country. Rooms are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.

You can pay by card on the registration site. Each individual has to be registered individually. However, if you plan on paying for multiple people coming from your station you can put in the following promo codes:

This will bring the total to $0, we will follow up with you directly for an e-transfer or a cheque as payment. Please only use this option if you are paying for multiple people, or can only pay by cheque or e-transfer. There will be a deadline for payment by this method prior to the start of the conference. There is another way to get a discounted registration and that is to join us as a speaker or presenter. Every year at the NCRC we look to provide the perspective of our members, through sharing experiences and expertise. We sincerely hope that you will consider sharing your knowledge with your colleagues in the sector. You can apply to speak through our form here. The deadline to apply is March 29th. People will be notified by April 12th.

I spoke with a station recently and they were waiting on the schedule to make a decision on whether or not to attend. There are over 40 different session timeslots. We've confirmed about 40% of the schedule so far, I've attached an infographic that details some of them. We are aiming to have the schedule confirmed by the end of April. We will continue to release information as it becomes confirmed.

For stations in the Toronto area, we are also rolling out a volunteer program, where programmers and students can volunteer for a few hours and will receive free registration in return. We will have this confirmed and available soon.
