NCRA/ANREC CRABO Awards open for submission - March 8 Deadline
Hello NCRA/ANREC Members,
It's that time of year again!
We are opening up the 2019 Community Radio Awards in Broadcast and Online. The 2019 CRABO's have more simplified requirements and a shorter guide. I've attached the guide to this email.
Following feedback from the 2018 CRABO's we've also broken down the Music Award to now be 1) Indie/Rock, 2) Country/Folk, 3) Classical, 4) Jazz/Blues, 5) World Beat, 6) Hip Hop/ Funk, and 7) Pop/Electronic/Dance
We know that your stations have an incredibly diverse range of talented music program DJ's and we hope our expanded awards offering will give more programmers an opportunity to compete on the national stage.
The deadline for submissions is March 8th. The website has a FAQ page that I will continually update as questions arise.
We know that stations who allocate staff to make submissions see a much higher success rate, stations who also provide staff support to volunteers to submit also see a higher success rate.
The www.awards.ncra.ca micro-site has all of the information that you may need, and the top-menu has a submit now button that will direct you to the form.
