Dear NCRA/ANREC Members!

*** UPDATE: Due to a tie - Member stations in good standing who have not voted may do so by end of day Friday. Please follow the e-mail outlined by NCRA Secretary Larry which was sent out to stations on July 19th at 10am EST. ***

A by-election to fill a vacant seat on the NCRA/ANREC board is now open. All votes must be received by 11pm PT on Tuesday, August 18th, 2015.

1. VOTING INSTRUCTIONS.

1.1 All NCRA/ANREC member stations in good standing may vote. Each station may only vote once in this process.

1.2 As there are two open board positions each vote must include the name of the two candidates being voted for.

1.3 Each vote also must include the call letters of the voting station.

1.4 Email your vote to the NCRA/ANREC Secretary at larry.portelance@gmail.com by the deadline of 11pm PT on Tuesday, August 18th, 2015. Late votes will not be counted.

1.5 NCRA/ANREC Equity Statement (Resolution 2009-F2). Whereas there has been a systemic problem of equity and diversity on the NCRA board and whereas the values of anti-oppression and equity are not apparent at NCRA plenaries, be it resolved that that the following equity statement be read at the beginning of every election process of the NCRA: The NCRA Statement of Principles mandates the NCRA to commit to providing alternative radio to an audience that is recognized as being diverse in ethnicity, culture, gender, sexual orientation, age, and physical and mental ability. The Board of Directors should reflect this diversity in its composition and and it is the responsibility of members of the association to implement these principles through the election process.
