Pour sortir des ondes

CHOQ.ca broadcasts a variety of highly-specialized programs covering arts, literature, sports, science, information and music. Its programming is entirely carried-out by some 150 volunteers. It is a radio experience, produced by today’s youth and targeted towards their peers.
The majority of our volunteers come from UQAM’s École des Médias, an intrinsic part of the largest communications faculty in Canada. The school offers several programs focusing on journalism, radio, television and print media.
CHOQ.ca's mission is not only to be original whilst broadcasting high-quality programming, but also to be a radio academy of sorts. That is why we have always placed a particular emphasis on training which allows volunteers to perfect their skills and hone their craft. Some of our more prolific members have now produced between 200 and 400 episodes and been on air for more than eight years.
